Telephone Sessions

I now offer Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) based sessions for those who find it difficult to make face-face meetings.  If possible, I would still like to meet you for the initial consultation if you live in or near or in Edinburgh, but this is not absolutely necessary.  CBT is a talking therapy and therefore perfectly suited to being carried out over the telephone.  I do not currently offer NLP or Hypnotherapy via telephone sessions.

How Do Telephone Sessions Work?

Telephone sessions operate in the same way as face-face therapy sessions.  We will agree a convenient day and time for your telephone therapy session. You will call me on my landline number and we will spend 60 minutes together.  It is important that you are able to ensure that for the hour of your therapy session, you have no other distractions.  It is preferable that you are able to call me from a landline number so that we have a good clear line and can hear each other!  Like face-face therapy sessions, you may be required to carry out CBT tasks and work through worksheets in between sessions, I will email or post you relevant homework sheets.  You will be required to return them before the session, so I can assess how you are doing and so that we can work through them together.

Telephone sessions are priced at £40.00 per 1-hour session and are payable prior to the session.
